Birds in Paradise (Includes Sneak Preview of Flowerbed of State)

Birds in Paradise (Includes Sneak Preview of Flowerbed of State) Review

In this novella-length story, Kyra Grainger is like Magnum P.I. They both wear flip-flops. They both work in the beautiful state of Hawaii. But unlike Magnum, she's not licensed to operate her P.I. business. Aloha Pete, the best darn homicide detective on the islands, promised to lock Kyra away and lose the key if she took on any new cases.

A few blocks beyond the glittering beachfront streets of Waikiki, you'll find a shadow world, a
world where desperate women do things for money that they don't write home to their parents about.
When Kyra is hired to find the latest missing girl in a string of disappearances, she straps on a pair of high heels, pulls on a skirt no wider than a headband, and delves into the back streets and shadowy world hidden behind the glitz of Hawaii.

The police are doing what they can,but they have other cases demanding their time. Kyra has the time, and these forgotten women need her.

She's determined to find the missing girls and bring them home. Just don't tell Pete.
